Youth hostel seats increased to 200, benefitting state’s youth: CM Sai
2 min readNew Delhi, (Team Newsbuddy): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai visited the Tribal Youth Hostel located in Dwarka, New Delhi. He inspected the hostel’s arrangements, interacted with the students, and boosted their morale.
Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Tribal Affairs Minister Ramvichar Netam, and Lundra MLA Prabodh Minj were also present.
During his visit, the Chief Minister reviewed the hotel’s facilities and assessed the services provided to the students. He directed the officials to pay special attention to the students’ needs and promptly address any deficiencies. He stressed the importance of cleanliness, security, and the quality of food in the hostel.
Interacting with the students, Chief Minister Sai states that the budget has provisioned an increase of 50 seats in the Youth Hostel for the preparation of the UPSC Civil Services Examination for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backward Class students, bringing the total to 200. Hostel and PG facilities will be arranged for them. This step aims to enhance the education and career prospects of the students, enabling more children from Chhattisgarh to succeed in civil services. He recalled the Chhattisgarh government’s commitment to student development and their bright future, stating that such efforts will elevate the youth of the state to new heights.
Motivating the students, Sai stated that they are the future of Chhattisgarh and encouraged them to work hard to achieve their goals. He discussed their studies and future plans, assuring them of all possible assistance.
While speaking with the hostel officials, the Chief Minister instructed them to address every need of the students. He suggested organizing various programmes and workshops for the educational and mental development of the students. He added that it is the officials’ responsibility to provide a positive and inspiring environment for the students. This visit by the Chief Minister has filled the students with new enthusiasm and confidence, leading them to openly share their views and express their gratitude.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai was accompanied by Media Advisor Pankaj Jha, Press Officer Alok Singh, Public Relations Commissioner Mayank Srivastava, Residential Commissioner Shruti Singh, and other officials.
