Divisional Railway Manager Sanjeev Kumar presides over meet

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): The 65th meeting of Divisional Official Language Implementation Committee, Raipur was held under the chairmanship of Divisional Railway Manager Sanjeev Kumar. During the meeting, the official language progress made in the division for the period January – March 2024 was reviewed as per the standard agenda issued by the Railway Board.

Official Language Officer Nikesh Kumar Pandey welcomed all the officers present and said, – “Many important provisions have been made by the Central Government to use Hindi instead of English in the functioning of offices. To comply with these provisions, the meeting of Divisional Official Language Implementation Committee is held every quarter. During the meeting, the use and dissemination of official language Hindi is reviewed as per the target set by the Ministry of Home Affairs for different works.”

Divisional Railway Manager Sanjeev Kumar said in his presidential address that, – “You all know that the use and promotion of official language Hindi is a constitutional duty, which is mandatory for all the officers and employees of the Central Government to comply with and if we want, more and more office work can be done in Hindi, there is no obstacle in this. The employees who are doing good work in the field of official language should be rewarded and encouraged from time to time.”

He said that all the officers must also take stock of the official language progress during their inspection. He expressed hope that all the officers of the division are quite capable in the promotion and implementation of Hindi, so you should work in Hindi with full readiness and also motivate your subordinates for this.

The meeting was conducted by Official Language Officer Nikesh Kumar Pandey. The meeting was declared concluded with a vote of thanks.
