Patna (Team Newsbuddy): Lightning is proving to be fatal amid rain in Bihar. 10 people have died due to lightning in the last 24 hours in the state. These 10 deaths have occurred in nine different districts. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of the state Nitish Kumar has directed to give ex-gratia grant of Rs four lakh each to the dependents of the deceased. In the last 24 hours, 2 people have died in Nalanda, 1 in Vaishali, 1 in Bhagalpur, 1 in Saharsa, 1 in Rohtas, 1 in Saran, 01 in Jamui, 01 in Bhojpur and 01 in Gopalganj due to lightning.
The Chief Minister has appealed to the people to be very cautious during bad weather. Follow the suggestions issued from time to time by the Disaster Management Department to protect yourself from lightning during bad weather. Stay indoors and stay safe during bad weather.
