IED blast in Bijapur: Soldiers trapped by Naxalite , two soldiers martyred; four injured
1 min readBijapur (Team Newsbuddy): There has been an IED blast in Bijapur. Two soldiers have been martyred in this. While four soldiers are injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. A search operation has been started in the area. Trouble is being faced due to bad weather.
According to the information, the Naxalites ambushed the soldiers returning from the search in the forest of Mandimarka in Tarrem police station area of the district and blasted the IED through a pipe bomb, in this incident where two soldiers were martyred, four were injured.
It is being told that the CRPF, Cobra, CAF, DRG and STF personnel were out on anti-naxal operation, on Wednesday the personnel were returning when the pipe bomb planted by the Naxalites blasted in the forests of Mandimarka in Tarrem police station area.
STF head constable Bharat Lal Sahu and constable Sater Singh were martyred in the incident. While Purushottam Nag, Komal Yadav, Siyaram Sori and Sanjay Kumar were injured, the injured have been brought to the district hospital Bijapur for better treatment, they are undergoing treatment here.
Looking at the condition of the injured, preparations are being made to take them to Raipur, but due to bad weather the helicopter is not able to fly, at present a search operation has been started in the area after the incident. No statement has come from any senior officer on the incident yet.
