Birth anniversary of Kalam ke Sipahi “Munshi Premchand” celebrated with pomp & show

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): The birth anniversary of Munshi Premchandra was organized in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi National Ground Water Training and Research Institute. More than 100 participants along with officials from Rajiv Gandhi National Ground Water Training and Research Institute, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Raipur, Bureau of Civil Aviation and Security, Central Water Commission, Integrated Pest Management Centre, Inter State Police Wireless Centre, MSTC participated in the program.

Nidhish Verma, Regional Director, Rajiv Gandhi National Land Water Training and Research Institute said that Premchand has been one of the best novelists in the history, his writings have not only inspired generations but also helped Hindi language to reach greater heights in the world.

Arpit Tiwari, District Youth Officer, Nehru Yuva Kendra Raipur, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India said that the life and writings of Premchand gave valuable lessons to the people of every generation. He further apprised that Premchand conviction and perservarce towards his passion is unparalleled to none. Tiwari also said that Premchand had been greatest feminist of his time and is an inspiration to the youth.

Suraj Kumar, Shubham Yadav, Navneet Barik, Shubjit Roy, Prerna Dey and Monica Bumrade staged an emotional drama based on Premchand’s popular story ‘Mantra’. Young scientists staged a drama of Premchand’s immortal story in a very simple but effective manner.
While Himanshu, gave a lecture on the life and writings of Premchand. He said that Premchand has attacked the religious evils and ostentation prevailing in the society with simple yet bold writing, dogged determination and selflessness.

Suraj performed a monoact on Harishankar Parsai’s essay ‘Premchand Ke Phate Shoe’. It was based on the life of Premchand. He outlined Premchand’s personality with simplicity and analyzed the intricacies of societies.

Gopal Prasad, Rajbhasha Officer, Rajiv Gandhi National Ground Water Training and Research Institute conducted a competition on the life of Premchand for the participants.

Shalini Tiwari, Gopal Prasad, Assistant Director (RABHA), Rajiv Gandhi National Ground Water Training and Research Institute compared the event.
