Dr. R. K. Dr. D. Sanyal mentioned that as we have many people at NIT, it is our duty to raise awareness among as many individuals as possible. Dr. S. L. Sinha said after death, we can continue to support others by donating our organs, turning our legacy into one of compassion.

Dr. Ajit highlighted that organ donation lets people live on through their gifts, as one donor can save up to eight lives. He urged everyone to pledge to donate organs through Aadhar card registration and to raise awareness in schools. Dr. Ajit also noted that excessive alcohol use can lead to organ disease and explained that organs can be donated either while living or, if deceased, only after confirming brain death. With just 10% of people donating organs and 1.5 lakh deaths yearly, he supported the idea of an organ bank, while mentioning that organ selling is illegal, and SOTTO handles authorized transplants in Chhattisgarh.

Dr. Santosh explained how non-medical individuals can save lives by outlining safety measures for both responsive and unresponsive people. He advised checking for responsiveness and ensuring the scene is safe before approaching. For responsive individuals, he recommended keeping them calm and comfortable while seeking help. For unresponsive individuals, he emphasized checking for breathing and starting CPR if needed. He also demonstrated CPR live, showing the correct technique for chest compressions and rescue breaths.
