Deshbandhu school hostsdebate competition on “Is artificial intelligence beneficial for society”

Gauri Chawla in favour and Snigdha Mohapatra in opposition came first

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): A debate competition was held for the students of class 10th, 11th and 12th in Deshbandhu English Medium Higher Secondary School on the most relevant topic for today’s youth and society, “Is artificial intelligence beneficial for society”. In this, Gauri Chawla of Sihawa House in favour of the topic and Snigdha Mohapatra of Vindhyachal House in opposition came first. All the participants presented excellent arguments on the advantages and disadvantages of man-made AI and its powers. Tanishka Chute of Vindhyachal House and Vinayak Khandelwal of Mekal House came second in favour of the topic.

The judges of this competition were Shikha Saraf, Pramod Srivastava and Meenal Shukla were the participants. Principal Shishir Das congratulated all the participants for the thought-provoking discussion on this important topic. The program was conducted by teacher Anita Agarwal and the vote of thanks was given by Literary Head Sansthita Koshta.
