GoI recruits young ground water scientists forregulation of groundwater resources
2 min readRaipur (Team Newsbuddy): The Government of India has recruited young Ground Water Scientists for all aspects of ground water resources management, including exploration, investigation, assessment, development, management, and regulation. Their training has commenced at the Rajiv Gandhi National Ground water Training and Research Institute, Rajpur. After the completion of the training, the officers will be posted at different Regional offices in various states of the country.
The Rajiv Gandhi National Ground water Training and Research Institute (RGI) conducts training programs for skill enhancement of ground water specialists across the country. These training programs cover all relevant aspects of groundwater resources management.
In his welcome speech, Nidhish Verma, Regional Director of RGI, welcomed all dignitaries, trainee officers, and RGI officials and staff. He also provided information about the program’s design, objectives, and expected outcomes of the ILTC.
The Central Groundwater Board (CGWB) has inaugurated a one-year entry-level training program for Group B Scientific Officers at RGI, Rajpur. Dr. Sunil Kumar Ambast, Chairman of CGWB, attended as the chief guest, while T.B.N. Singh, Member of CGWB, attended as the honored guest.
In his welcome address, Nidhish Verma, Regional Director, RGNGWT &RI, welcomed all the dignitaries, trainee Officers and all Officers and Officials of RGI. He also informed the august gathering about the course design, objectives and expected outcomes of ILTC.
In his inaugural speech, T.B.N. Singh, Member of CGWB, urged trainee officers to maintain a positive attitude and build team spirit.
The RGI module of the Learning Management System (LMS) developed by the National e-Governance Division of the Indian Government was presented by Bijimol Jose, Scientist-‘D’, and inaugurated by the Chairman of CGWB.
Chairman Dr. S.K. Ambast advised trainees to work as a team and think outside the box during their professional journey. He advised trainees to remain focused, disciplined, and strive to present their work in publications.
