Recruitment is being done from RSS instead of UPSC, reservation is being snatched: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi (Team Newsbuddy): Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi once again targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Referring to the recruitment recently released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), he said that this government is recruiting for big posts from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) instead of the Union Public Service Commission.

Rahul Gandhi attacked by posting on the social media platform X. He said that Narendra Modi is attacking the Constitution by recruiting public servants through the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh instead of the Union Public Service Commission. The reservation of SC, ST and OBC category is being snatched openly by recruiting through lateral entry to important posts in various ministries of the Central Government.

Robbery on the rights of talented youth
He said, ‘I have always said that the underprivileged are not represented in all the top positions of the country including the top bureaucracy. Instead of improving it, they are being pushed further away from the top positions through lateral entry. This is robbery on the rights of talented youth preparing for UPSC and an attack on the concept of social justice including reservation for the underprivileged.’
He further said, ‘SEBI is a new example of what representatives of a few corporates will do by sitting on decisive government posts, where for the first time a person coming from the private sector has been made the chairperson. Indy Alliance will strongly oppose this anti-national step which hurts both the administrative structure and social justice.’

The Congress MP said that privatization of IAS is Modi’s guarantee to end reservation.
