Chhattisgarh Nyay Yatra concludes with huge public meeting in capital
Raipur (Team Newsbuddy). The Nyay Yatra of Chhattisgarh Congress started from Saddu on the 6th day and concluded with a grand ceremony at Gandhi Maidan in the capital, where a huge public meeting was organized. The yatra was led by State Congress President Deepak Baij, in which Congress’s Chhattisgarh in-charge Sachin Pilot, Leader of Opposition Dr. Charandas Mahant, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, former Deputy Chief Minister T.S. Singhdeo and many senior leaders were present.
Addressing the gathering, Sachin Pilot said, “Through this Nyay Yatra, the Congress party has made the people aware of their rights and exposed the failures of the BJP government. The misgovernance and irregularities of the BJP government can no longer be hidden.”
State Congress President Deepak Baij challenged the Chief Minister to be ready for a public debate on his misrule. He said, “The people of Chhattisgarh are troubled by the misrule of the BJP. This Nyay Yatra is the voice of the people and this fight will continue till justice is not achieved.”
Baij said, “This is not the end of Nyay Yatra, but a pause. In the coming time, a bigger yatra will be taken out, which will go to every corner of Chhattisgarh.”
In the meeting, Sachin Pilot, Dr. Charandas Mahant, Bhupesh Baghel and T.S. Singhdeo raised the issues of the public while criticizing the policies of the BJP government. The huge crowd present in the meeting gave wide support to this initiative of the Congress.
Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel attacked the BJP government and said, “The law and order in the state has completely collapsed. Incidents of theft, murder, rape and robbery are happening every day. The public is not safe and the government is only involved in corruption.”
