30 lakh street dogs to be killed before FIFA World Cup

Actually, in Morocco, a big step is going to be taken regarding street dogs to keep the city clean during the FIFA World Cup, which has already started being opposed.

According to the report, during the FIFA World Cup, lakhs of fans from India and abroad will come to the city to watch the match. In such a situation, the city administration is preparing to kill about 30 lakh dogs so that they do not have any problem with stray animals. After the report came out, animal rights activists have started opposing it.

Protests have started in Morocco

Morocco’s famous animal rights activist and lawyer Jane Goodall has protested this incident by writing a letter to FIFA Secretary General Matthias Graf Straw regarding this entire matter. Jane Goodall wrote in her letter, ‘I am shocked to hear about this report. Organizations working on international animal protection are keeping a close eye on this. Apart from this, I also want to ask a question to those football fans who love animals, will they agree with this terrible act happening with animals.

Jena Goodall has also warned the FIFA Secretary General that if he does not intervene in this matter, then big steps will be taken by animal rights activists. Along with this, she has also alleged that in Morocco, the administration is already killing street dogs in the name of cleaning the city.
