Ramrajya in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: These days, a mini version of Ramrajya or Hindu Rashtra is being seen in Chhattisgarh. Following the footsteps of Yogi Adityanath’s double engine government of Uttar Pradesh, Bajrang Dal in Bhilai and Raipur is showing special enthusiasm and activism to stop beef consumption and smuggling by becoming self-proclaimed protectors of law and order. Due to Bajrang Dal playing the role of self-proclaimed police administration, Lokesh Sahu, a youth from a poor family of Faridnagar in Bhilai, committed suicide.
The family members say that he took his life due to the beating and harassment by Bajrang Dal. Now the question arises that has the Chhattisgarh Police Administration given a legal contract to a fascist illegal gang like Bajrang Dal to spread terror in the name of beef and protection of religion? Is that why, despite the killing (mob-lynching) of three Muslim youth in Arang by Bajrang Dal 6 months ago, the police administration did not take any action against them or made excuses in taking action.
The second question is that Why does Bajrang Dal remain silent on the issues of poverty, unemployment, inflation or on the issue of opposing the large-scale felling of Hansdev forest and looting of resources by Modiji’s friend, the highly corrupt corporate Adani? Why is the plight of Chhattisgarh’s struggling assistant teachers, unorganized workers suffering from the oppression of the police administration or the poor farmers of Chhattisgarh migrating across the country in search of employment not in the priorities of Bajrang Dal? Why do Bajrang Dal workers not show activism on the above issues under the guidance of their extreme Brahminist leaders, why? Ultimately, the tribals, Dalits/oppressed, women, students, youth and hardworking common people of Chhattisgarh will have to find answers to these questions and give a befitting reply to these Sanghi Manuwadi/Brahminist fascist forces who are traders of hatred and division. Only then will Chhattisgarh be able to become an island of peace in the true sense.
