Man-eater bear attacks middle-aged man in forest

Balod. A bear attacked a middle-aged man who had gone to the forest. The bear took out one eye of the middle-aged man. Due to which the person got seriously injured. This incident took place in Hiteksa village of Gurur forest range. The injured were brought to Gurur Primary Health Center in a forest department vehicle. After treatment, the patient has been referred to District Hospital Dhamtari. At present his condition is said to be critical.

According to the information, the middle-aged man used to roam around the village. He had gone towards the forest adjacent to the village late in the evening. Where the bear attacked the middle-aged man. Due to which the middle-aged man got seriously injured. The bear badly scratched the middle-aged man’s face. The bear had also scratched out one of his eyes.

As soon as the villagers got the information, the middle-aged man was brought from the forest to the village and the forest department was informed. As soon as the Forest Department received the information, the team reached the spot and took the injured to the Community Health Center in its own vehicle.
