Lawyer Ujjwal Nikam, who got Kasab sentenced to death, will contest elections

BJP made him candidate from Mumbai North Central

Mumbai (Team Newsbuddy): A big news is coming out in the midst of the Lok Sabha elections. BJP has cut Poonam Mahajan’s ticket from Mumbai North Central seat and declared Ujjwal Nikam as the candidate. Let us tell you that Ujjwal Nikam was the government lawyer in the Ajmal Kasab case and it was he who got Kasab sentenced to death. Apart from the 26/11 attack, Nikam has fought many cases like Mumbai Bomb Blast Case, Gulshan Kumar Murder Case, Pramod Mahajan Murder Case, Gateway of India Blast. Famous lawyer Lanikam, who belongs to a Maratha family of Jalgaon city of Maharashtra, has now been declared a candidate by the BJP from Mumbai North Central seat.

Poonam Mahajan has won from Mumbai North Central twice
Poonam Mahajan, daughter of late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, won from Mumbai North Central in 2014 and 2019. She is also the former president of the BJP youth wing. BJP leaders have claimed that the decision to remove Mahajan has been taken on the basis of organizational feedback. There were already indications that the party high command could take a big decision regarding Poonam Mahajan.
