16 Naxalites arrested in Bijapur

Raipur(Team Newsbuddy): Security forces have arrested 16 Naxalites from Bhusapur and Gorna Padiarpara of Usur and Bijapur police station areas of the district. The arrested Naxalites have been involved in incidents including planting IEDs and cutting roads.
According to the police, a joint party of Bijapur police station and DRG has arrested DKMS member Lakkhu Kursam alias Sukku alias Enka Lakkhu from Padiarpara of Gorna in Bijapur police station area. Whose age is said to be 42 years. Who has been active in the Naxalite organization since the year 1998.
Moolvasi Bachao Manch member Shankar Kursam alias Budhu Kursam age 26 has been arrested. Active since the year 2016. Mankeli RPC militia platoon members Mannu Kursam, Chaitu Kursam, Soma Kursam, Kamlesh Kursam, Mahesh Sodhi, Sannu Kursam, Ayatu Kursam, Mangal alias Pandu Madkam and Ramesh Kursam have been arrested. They were active in the Naxal organization for many years.
The 11 Naxalites arrested by Bijapur police were involved in blocking roads, planting IEDs, and putting up anti-government pamphlets and banners in the area.
Usur police station and DRG team have arrested militia members Madkam Ayta, Mangadu, Podiya Punem, Lakhma and Podiyam. All the arrested Naxalites were presented in the judicial remand court after legal action in Bijapur and Usur police stations.
