Wherever there has been an attempt to divide humans, there has been unrest and discontent. The current global problem is creating a ground for social change on a spiritual basis for the future. A movement of social justice, harmony, awareness is expected to be created with love, service, internal spiritual practice, sacrifice.
Guest speaker Shri Pradeep Sharma said that religiosity works to make people like itself and spirituality works to make people one’s own. In the context of the tradition of accepting saints in Chhattisgarh’s culture, he told about Guru Ghasidas ji.
The coordinator of the program, Dr. Satyajit Sahu, identified the role of spirituality in social changes with the examples of Vedic sages, Shiva, Krishna Gautam Buddha, Adi Shankaracharya, saints of the Bhakti period, Swami Dayanand and Vivekanand.

This lecture on the topic of ‘Social Movement and Spirituality’ was organized by Doctors on Street (DOST) and Progressive Utilization of Research and Economics (PURE).
