Renewal of ration card from January 25 in state

Raipur(TEAM NEWS BUDDY).The state government has decided to start a campaign at the state level for the renewal of all 76.94 lakh ration cards currently prevalent under the public distribution system in the state. Which will start from 25th of this month. For this, the Food Department has also prepared a new mobile app. The current ration card holder can download it in his mobile and submit online application for renewal of ration card.

Apart from this, those ration card holders who do not have Android mobile, or in places where there is no mobile connectivity, will be able to go to their fair price shop and submit the application for their ration card. For this, the Director Food Department has issued necessary instructions to all the collectors.
