Chhattisgarh State Health Employees Union call off strike

After Chief Minister , Health Minister’s intervention

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): Chhattisgarh State Health Employees Union agreed to withdraw their strike immediately following the intervention of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal. As per their directives, the demands of the union were thoroughly discussed.

Mission Director of National Health Mission Chhattisgarh held a detailed discussion with the delegation of the Chhattisgarh State Health Employees Union at the National Health Mission Headquarters regarding their three-point demands. The union’s main demand concerning the work based incentive of Community Health Officer was also brought to attention.

It is worth mentioning that an amount of Rs 43.92 crore has already been disbursed to the districts for the said payment. Besides, a decision has been made to form a committee at the headquarters level to review the remaining demands within the stipulated timeframe. Following this development, the union agreed to withdraw the strike immediately.
