Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): The truth of the alleged acid attack incident on a 12-year-old child, which came to light recently in the DD Nagar police station area of ​​​​the capital, has come to the fore. In the police investigation, this case has turned out to be false. In fact, the child, along with his younger brother, had fabricated a false story of acid attack to avoid the reprimand of his parents.

According to the police, the younger brother of the injured child told the truth of this whole matter during interrogation. He said that actually the accident happened while lighting the gas stove in the absence of parents in the house, due to which the face of the elder brother got burnt. After the incident, both the brothers made up the story that some unknown miscreants had attacked with acid to avoid the scolding of the parents.

Police investigation, confirmation

After the incident, the police and crime branch team reached the spot and started investigation. The investigation found that there were several inconsistencies in the story told by the children, following which in-depth questioning was done. Eventually, the younger brother told the truth and said that there was no acid attack. It was just a fabricated story.

Background of the incident

The incident began on Saturday when a 12-year-old child told the police that while he was playing with his younger brother on a bicycle, two masked miscreants threw flammable powder on his face. The child’s face was badly burnt and he was immediately admitted to AIIMS.

The reality of the case came to light after the police investigation, which proved that the child had made up this false story out of fear. The police have confirmed that there was no acid attack, and there is no culprit in the case.
