Balwadi Program in Mainpur : For betterment of children education future

Raipur; Under the New Education Policy 2020, efforts are underway to strengthen the basic education of children through the Balwadi program, keeping in mind the pre-school preparation and pre-school concept of the foundational stage. In this direction, a comprehensive review of the Balwadi program was done in the review meeting held in Mainpur Block. The meeting discussed in detail other important issues including theme-based programs, children’s progress in basic language and mathematics (cognitive) skills.
The meeting was chaired by Block Education Officer Mahesh Ram Patel and Resource Coordinator Shiv Kumar Nag. District Coordinators of Aawahan Team Sameer Kaser, Ashwani Kumar, and Bhuvendra Kumar Baghel were also present in this meeting. The main objective of the meeting was to review the progress of the Balwadi program in collaboration with Aawahan Sanstha and to make the new Balwadi teachers aware of the objectives and methodology of the program.
In his address, Mahesh Ram Patel said that his main objective is to encourage Balwadi teachers and improve Balwadi operations. Emphasizing on improving the quality of education, he said that there is a need to mold education according to the needs of children.
Various points were discussed in the meeting for the successful implementation of the Balwadi program. Future strategies and continuous academic support by CSC were also discussed in detail. Also, the Aahwan team provided training to new Balwadi teachers through demonstrations about language and mathematics (cognitive) skills.
In this review meeting, a resolution was taken to take important steps towards further strengthening the quality of education under the Balwadi program
